Call for Applications: University Student Representatives

The Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission (MPHEC) invites interested Maritime university students to submit an application to become a member, for up to a full three-year term, of one of its advisory committees. There are no pre-requisites to become a member as long as the student is in good standing in a Maritime university; we accept applications from all students interested in shaping the region's post-secondary learning environment, now and for the future. Please not that an honorarium is provided for all student members and travel expenses are reimbursed. If selected, your input will be sought on matters pertaining to Maritime university education, including program development and monitoring, data and research, among others.

If interested in becoming a member, we ask that you please submit a current CV (which provides the names of three references, including contact information and their relationship), with cover letter to the address below. The cover letter should outline your relevant experience, if applicable; the reason you are applying to become a member; and the specific membership(s) in which you are interested (i.e., AAU-MPHEC Advisory Committee on Information and Analysis, AAU-MPHEC Quality Assurance Monitoring Committee).

Consideration of applications will begin April 10, 2012, and will continue until a suitable candidate has been chosen.
